The concept for the 2010 SABC Annual Report had the central theme of the Soccer World Cup with a uniquely African approach.
Sketchy line-art illustrations were used to depict various concepts relating to soccer, South Africa and broadcasting. The illustrations used a style representative of early San rock art, combined with a modern digital style to symbolise how far we’ve all come. A spot gold varnish was used throughout the Annual Report representing the trophy everyone had their eyes on.
